Return & Refund Policy

At Maiden Bloom, we stand behind the quality of every piece we send you. Because our products are custom-printed on demand — produced specifically for you — we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as a change of mind or incorrect size selection. However, we have a clear and fair policy for items that arrive with defects or errors.

1. Our Quality Guarantee

If your order arrives with any of the following issues, we will provide a free replacement or full refund at your choice:

  • Significant print quality defect (fading, bleeding, misalignment, or missing print areas)
  • Wrong item received (wrong design, wrong garment type, wrong size)
  • Item damaged in transit (tears, holes, stains caused during shipping)
  • Manufacturing defect (seam failures, fabric flaw not visible in product photos)

2. What Is Not Covered

The following are not covered under our refund or replacement policy:

  • Incorrect size ordered (please refer to the size chart on the product page before purchasing)
  • Change of mind after production has begun
  • Minor colour variation between screen display and printed result (inherent to sublimation printing and screen calibration differences)
  • Damage caused by improper washing or care (please follow the care label instructions)
  • Orders where a delivery issue was caused by an incorrect address provided by the customer

3. How to Submit a Defect Claim

To request a replacement or refund for a defective item, please follow these steps within 14 days of your delivery date:

  1. Email us at support@maidenbloom.com with the subject line: Defect Claim — Order #[your order number]
  2. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue
  3. Attach clear photos of the defect, showing the full garment and a close-up of the affected area

We review all claims within 2–3 business days and will confirm our resolution (replacement or refund) by email. If a replacement is issued, it will be produced and shipped under the same timeframes as a new order.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank or payment provider. Shipping costs are refunded in full for confirmed defective or incorrect items. We do not charge restocking fees.

5. Cancellations

Because production begins quickly after an order is placed, cancellations are only possible within 12 hours of placing your order. To request a cancellation, email support@maidenbloom.com immediately with your order number. If production has already begun, we are unable to cancel the order.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer size or design exchanges for made-to-order items. If you receive a defective item and would like a different size as your replacement, please let us know in your defect claim email and we will accommodate where possible.

7. Sustainability Note

Our made-to-order model means we produce only what is ordered — eliminating overstock and textile waste. We appreciate your understanding that this model requires a more limited return window than traditional retail. Every policy decision we make is designed to be both fair to our customers and sustainable for the planet.
